Safe Treatment for Chemical Dependency
People suffering from addiction to drugs and alcohol must undergo detoxification – a process of removing these substances from the body – in order to benefit from therapeutic programming.
Withdrawal from many substances can pose medical risks and should be done under supervision of a doctor and other medical professionals. Some detoxification require a stay in a medical hospital.
The care of patients in this program is supervised and directed by a physician along with nursing professionals. Our assessment and referral clinicians can help determine the patient’s treatment needs and whether further medical interventions are recommended.
Discharge planning is an important part to staying sober. St. Joseph’s Behavioral Health Center has an extensive continuum of care for chemical recovery. We will assess your needs and discuss options available to you taking into consideration insurance coverage, transportation, family support and needs.
