When you are admitted to the hospital, you'll be assigned a room in an area of the hospital that specializes in the type of care you will need. If your clinical needs change during the course of your stay, it may be necessary to change your room accordingly. Most rooms in the hospital are semi-private.
St. Joseph's Behavioral Health Center facilitates the needs of smokers on scheduled breaks in designated areas outside the hospital. Breaks are scheduled throughout the day, normally every 1 to 2 hours, from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Although we acknowledge the health risks of smoking, we recognize that individuals may choose to continue smoking. We know that smoking affects the effectiveness of your medications and want to ensure that changes in your prescribed amount of medication are not affected by changes in your smoking patterns during and following your stay.
Cellular Phones, Personal Computers, Cameras, or other Recording Devices
To protect the privacy and confidentialty of our patients, we do not permit use of cell phones, personal computers, cameras or any other recording devices within the hospital.
