Detoxification is the most intense level of inpatient care.  It is provided to those patients who are withdrawing from alcohol and/or other drugs. This service takes place in a safe, medically supervised environment and is completed when the patient is medically stable. 

In this level of care, patients are encouraged to attend therapeutic activities as they are able to begin to bond with others.  Discharge planning referrals may include, but are not limited to, county facilities,  12-Step recovery programs, or to long-term residential care/recovery homes.
