Volunteers... Make a World of Difference
Volunteers are an integral part of the staff at St. Joseph's
Behavioral Health Center. Serving from the heart, volunteering is a
labor of love, uncomplicated by salaries and budgets. Most of our
volunteers assist in the Chemical Dependency Recovery
Program. These volunteers have usually experienced a recovery
program themselves, continue in the recovery process, and volunteer
to support others going through a similar process. They find
the volunteer experience enriches their own lives as well as the
lives those they support.
Volunteer applicants must agree to fullfill a 150-hour service
committment. All new volunteers are required to complete
orientation, training, health and criminal background
screenings.
